Lots of things, even if you've got just ten minutes.
Look through the list below and pick an activity that interests you.
Some can be done right now, at your home.
For all of them, call us if you need help: (617) 320-6989.
1. Send Dean news articles to your friends (5 minutes)

Write a letter to the editor
Local newspapers like printing your letters on political issues.
We encourage writing a brief letter-to-the-editor that mentions your stance and Howard Dean -- sign your name and town to it,
and if it gets published, send a copy to neil@DeanVolunteers.org and we'll post it on the web site.
To find your local paper on-line, choose your town or region from the list below.
That will take you to the local paper's home page -- locate its "Op-Ed" or "Letters" page.
Send an e-mail or fax via the method described there.

Recruit students from your local college
College students are a receptive audience for Howard Dean's ideas.
You can write letters-to-the-editor, or place ads, in your local college newspapers,
informing students about the local Dean Meetup event,
or asking them to attend peace rallies (both of which are listed above).

7.
Sign up as a Grassroots Endorser of Dean
DeanVolunteers is building a list of Dean endorsers in several categories.
Please sign up yourself in categories that apply, and ask your friends and colleagues to sign up also.
When the list is sufficiently long, we'll post it on the website and send out a press release to interest-based periodicals in relevant fields.
8.
Make calls on your free cell phone minutes
Dean for America is currently looking for Dean volunteers with free cell phone
minutes to make calls advertising upcoming house parties to local Dean
supporters. They supply calling lists and scripts for callers. It only
takes about 1-2 hours over a weekend to complete and they can use
volunteers from anywhere in the country.
The Dean campaign needs your contribution both to keep the campaign running and to show the press and the pundits that Dean's candidacy is doing well.
Click here for the Dean campaign's contribution page.
Small amounts are fine -- even $1 helps -- and you can donate up to $2,000.
And remember to "Add a Penny for the Internet" -- if you're planning to donate $10.00, make it $10.01 instead, to allow the campaign to track web-based donations and to demonstrate to the press the power of the Internet.
10.
Bumper Stickers and Buttons
You can purchase Howard Dean bumper stickers, buttons, T-shirts, hats, and lawn signs at DemStore.com/scstore/Dean/ (allow several weeks for printing and delivery).
We will send you one bumper sticker, button, or lawn sign, as long as our personal supply lasts and if you prommise to display it publicly and often. If you send us $1 per piece plus postage, we'll send as many as you want right away.
